MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY

Turnkey Mechanical Assembly

For many manufacturers, the bottleneck is not fabrication, it is the time spent organizing and assembling individual components. Graphie provides industrial mechanical assembly services designed to transform fabricated parts into ready-to-install industrial sub-assemblies.

Based in La Pocatière, Quebec, we support manufacturers across Canada and the United States by acting as an extension of their production lines. Instead of receiving pallets of separate brackets, painted covers, hinges, and loose hardware, your team receives a single, pre-assembled SKU ready for final integration. This turnkey manufacturing approach reduces labor costs, simplifies inventory management, and accelerates time-to-market.

Assembly processes are standardized and documented, making this service particularly well suited for recurring production runs where consistency, repeatability, and predictable quality are critical.

Structural Joining and Riveting

Once parts are painted, powder coated, or anodized, we perform final structural joining using cold-assembly techniques that preserve surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.

  • Riveting: Installation of high-strength pop rivets and structural rivets (Monobolt) for permanent joining of chassis and enclosures.

  • Bolting and Screwing: Controlled-torque assembly using stainless steel or zinc-plated hardware to ensure mechanical integrity without damaging finished surfaces.

  • Threaded Inserts: Installation of brass or steel inserts into plastic components or thick metal plates where conventional tapping is not sufficient.

Sub-Assembly and Bonding

We integrate the components we manufacture into complete mechanical sub-assemblies, reducing downstream handling and alignment issues.

  • Adhesive Bonding: As a 3M Certified Converter, we apply structural tapes and adhesives to bond dissimilar materials; such as attaching acrylic windows to painted metal doors; without visible fasteners.

  • Gasket Installation: Precise placement of rubber or foam sealing gaskets to ensure enclosures meet IP / NEMA ingress protection requirements.

  • Mechanical Integration: Assembly of metal chassis with CNC-routed plastic guards to deliver fully formed housings ready for downstream operations.

Commercial Hardware Sourcing and Integration

To provide a true one-stop manufacturing solution, Graphie manages the supply chain for standard commercial hardware. Customers do not need to source or ship casters, rubber bumpers, latches, locks, or specialized handles.

We procure these components directly and integrate them during assembly, delivering a fully completed mechanical unit that reduces procurement complexity and eliminates coordination with multiple suppliers.
