INTEGRATED INDUSTRIAL MARKING
Integrated Industrial Marking and Finishing
A metal component is rarely complete without identification. Whether it is a serialized chassis number, a safety warning on a machine guard, or the functional labeling of an operator control panel, marking is a critical step in the manufacturing cycle.
At Graphie, we integrate Industrial Marking directly into the fabrication workflow. Instead of shipping your bent and welded parts to a separate print shop - risking damage and adding weeks to your lead time - we identify them right here on the production floor.
Why Integrate Marking with Fabrication?
By consolidating fabrication and identification, you eliminate the logistical nightmare of managing multiple vendors.

-
Reduced Lead Time: Your parts move instantly from Powder Coating to Marking. No shipping delays.
-
Single Accountability: We are responsible for the entire part. If a printing error occurs, we have the raw material and fabrication capacity to remake the component immediately.
-
Surface Compatibility: Because we apply the paint and powder coat ourselves, we ensure the ink formulations and surface treatments are perfectly matched for maximum adhesion.
AVAILABLE MARKING TECHNOLOGIES
We offer a full spectrum of marking solutions compatible with our metal fabrication processes.
Direct Part Marking
Permanent marking applied directly to the chassis, panel, or enclosure surface.
-
Industrial Screen Printing: The standard for control panels and faceplates. We apply durable epoxy inks (Pantone matched) onto powder-coated surfaces to identify buttons and switches with precision.
-
Laser Marking: High-contrast annealing on stainless steel (smooth, dark mark) used for permanent serialization and QR codes.
-
Mechanical Engraving: Physical rotary engraving using a cutting tool to remove material. Ideal for creating deep, fillable text on panels that must withstand harsh abrasion.
-
Pad Printing: Transfer printing on curved surfaces, knobs, or inside recessed areas of a housing where flat screens cannot reach.
-
Mechanical Embossing: Creating raised logos, lettering, or tactile features directly into the sheet metal using precision dies and presses.
Identification Assembly (Riveted or Applied)
If your specifications require a separate label, plate, or overlay, we manufacture and install it for you.
-
Digital Printing & Decals: Production and application of high-resolution vinyl decals, safety stickers, and branding labels (including 3M™ MCS™ Warranty parts).
-
Graphic Overlays & Membrane Switches: We manufacture and install polycarbonate overlays directly onto the metal control panels we fabricate, ensuring perfect alignment around buttons, LEDs, and cutouts.
-
Metalphoto® Installation: We fabricate Mil-Spec anodized aluminum plates and rivet them to your assembly for extreme durability.
