What tolerances can you achieve on plastic parts?
Plastics are more sensitive to thermal expansion than metals, but our industrial CNC routers typically achieve tolerances of ± 0.005". For critical mating features, we optimize tool paths and cutting speeds to minimize heat buildup and maximize dimensional stability.
What is the maximum thickness you can route?
We can machine plastic sheets and blocks up to 2 to 3 inches thick, depending on the material hardness and the complexity of the required geometry.
